Background

Deborah has been Office Manager with Thistle Communications since 2007.  She graduated from Boston University in 1991 with a B.A. in History.  She began her professional career at Lester Burdick Insurance Company in Boston where she eventually managed a sales team of 10 to 15 agents as Sales Supervisor.  Deborah took her experience and knowledge to Portland Maine where she worked as a Senior Analyst at Disability Reinsurance Management Services.  When Deborah started her family with her husband Mike, Jim Thistle asked if she would be willing to utilize her skills closer to home to help with the fast growing business.
